The man was arrested in Limerick.
As part of an ongoing operation into the sale and supply of drugs in Limerick City, Gardaí have arrested a man in his late 20s.
Gardaí seized approximately €80,000 worth of suspected cocaine and cash following a search at a house in the Castleconnell area of Limerick yesterday.
Gardaí from the Roxboro Road district carried out at a search at a house in the Castleconnell area of Limerick.
During the course of the search, Gardaí seized approximately €10,000 in cash and €70,000 worth of cocaine which will now be sent for analysis.
A man in his late 20s was arrested at the scene and brought to Henry Street Garda Station.
He is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
The man expected to appear before a sitting of Limerick District Court this evening charged in connection with the case.
