OASIS have announced two additional shows for next year's reunion tour following what the band called the 'phenomenal demand' for tickets.
Fans were left disappointed and frustrated after tickets went on sale on Saturday, with many met with long queues before facing increased prices due to so-called dynamic pricing.
Meanwhile, the band have said they were not aware the practice would be employed for the sale of tickets and promised a fairer system for the additional shows.
Ballot process
The new dates announced by Oasis today are for London's Wembley Stadium on Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28 next year.
The band — which includes second-generation Irish brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher — will play five other dates at the venue as part of their now 19-date tour of Britain and Ireland.
Tickets for the original shows sold out within hours of going on sale on Saturday, with fans reporting long queues, buffering issues and having their sessions suspended after being suspected of being a bot.
Announcing the new shows on Wednesday, the band said on social media that the sales process for the extra dates would be fairer.
"Two extra Wembley Stadium shows have been added due to phenomenal demand," it read.
"Tickets will be sold by a staggered, invitation-only ballot process.
"Applications to join the ballot will be opened first to the many UK fans who were unsuccessful in the initial on sale with Ticketmaster.

Pricing
Another issue fans faced when buying tickets on Saturday was increased prices from those originally advertised.
The sales process was subject to dynamic pricing, which sees costs increase as demand rises.
Fans who made their way through the Ticketmaster booking process expecting to pay around £150 for a standing ticket in Britain were faced with tickets labelled 'In Demand' costing around £350.
After announcing the additional Wembley shows today, Oasis promised a smoother process when tickets go on sale after the 'well reported complaints' over dynamic pricing.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the band said: "It needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management, and at no time had any awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used."
The statement added that meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band's management resulted in a positive ticket-sale strategy but that 'the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations'.
