NIGEL FARAGE was involved in a tempestuous clash with Piers Morgan when the pair discussed Donald Trump during an episode of Good Morning Britain on Thursday.
Morgan pressed Farage on President Trump's unfounded claim that you could cure Covid-19 by injecting yourself with disinfectant.
Farage hit out at Morgan, telling him he was "fake news."
But the Morgan responded by playing the video of Mr Trump claiming as such during a press briefing earlier this year.
The GMB presenter began: "Nigel I just want to clarify one thing. What I'm talking about is when Trump, back in April, said, 'then I see the disinfectant,' which is bleach, 'knocks it out'" - before he was cut off by the former UKIP leader, who took issue with Morgan's use of the word 'bleach'.
"Bleach is disinfectant, Nigel," Morgan said.
Farage responded: "Do you know what? Grow up and stop being fake news."
"Sorry, Nigel, just to clarify, these are the words of Donald Trump," Morgan replied.
Getting louder, Farage said: "Grow up and stop being fake news. He never said bleach."
"OK, I tell you what," Morgan said, "let's just play the clip. You say he didn't say 'use disinfected bleach'. This is what he said."
A clip is then played where President Trump can be audibly heard saying: "Then I see the disinfectant knocks it out in a minute. One minute and is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside."
Morgan continued: "Sorry Nigel, have I made that up?"
"Yes," came the response from Farage.
"We just saw the clip!" Shouted co-host Susanna Reid in amazement.
