NOEL GALLAGHER has sent Oasis fans into a frenzy with the sudden release of a previously unheard song.
The former Oasis star took to Twitter yesterday where he teased fans with the promise of a 'new' release, having stumbled across the Oasis demo while going through old CD's at his home.
The Manchester musician, who has Irish parents, revealed "as fate would have it I have stumbled across an old demo which I thought had been lost forever."

He went on to say that the track, entitled 'Don't Stop', was played just once before at a soundcheck some years ago, and while a small number of fans have heard that version on Youtube, he would now be releasing the proper demo "for you to enjoy / argue over".
"It'l be up on the internet from midnight," he teased, before wishing everyone well in riding out the lockdown.
"You're welcome by the way," he added.
The song, which sounds crisp and clear for a demo version, features Noel himself on the vocals-- something which appeared to irk his brother Liam, who wrote on Twitter "Oi tofu boy if your gonna release old demos make sure im singing on it and boneheads playing guitar on it if not it's not worth a wank (sic)".

So it sounds like a full-blown Oasis reunion still isn't on the cards just yet... but until then, the 'new' track can keep fans going for the time being.
