A wind warning has been issued.
A status yellow wind warning has been issued for Munster, Connacht and Donegal.
The warning was issued at 7pm this evening and is valid from Monday 17 December 2018 13:00 to Tuesday 18 December 2018 04:00.
It's said south to southeast winds will reach mean speed at times between 50 and 65km/h and gusts between 90 and 100 km/h.
Winds may exceed these limits in coastal areas.
Areas of Leinster, Cavan and Monaghan have also been added to the warning.
