THE Irish National Lottery are urging people to check tickets as one player in the draw has won a cool €1 million.
The winning ticket was reportedly sold in Supervalu on the Tramore Road in Co. Waterford.
The winning code on the ticket for the Ireland Only Raffle is said to be I-CWQ-43032.
Speaking to The Mirror, Supervalu manager Karl Carter said: "We’re absolutely delighted. It’s been great craic spreading the word to our customers this morning. I haven’t a clue who the winner is but the €7 Quick Pick ticket was bought in the store yesterday.
"Whoever it is is about to have a great Christmas. Myself and our staff will be reminding all of our customers to get checking those tickets!"
The National Lottery confirmed that the winner of the EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draw has still not yet made contact to collect their winnings.
