The names of the nine men who appeared in court following incidents in Tallaght have been revealed

NINE MEN were arrested following the robbery of a Lidl and Centra in Tallaght, County Dublin.

On Friday evening, nine people have been arrested following a JCB being reportedly used to break into the Fortunestown Lane Lidl and Centra in the same area.

According to RTÉ, a Centra store was broken into and robbed.

The men arrested in connection with the Centra incident were Mohammad Smeu, accused of burglary and possessing a weapon, a sledgehammer. Two other men named John Doyle and David Bernie are charged with burglary of the family-run store.

For those reportedly involved with the robbery and demolition of Lidl, John Kelly is accused of taking stolen property, namely the store's safe and Pouilas Gueizecius is accused of burglary and possession of stolen property.

Paul Freeman and Keith Kelly have been accused of trespassing in the store when it was broken into.

Edgar Cesynas and Gerard Buggle were both charged with theft at Lidl.

The three men involved in the Centra robbery were taken into custody and the remaining six men received bail and must await a trial later this month.
