NADINE COYLE has emerged as a serious contender to be crowned Queen of the Jungle on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
The Irish singer has become an increasingly popular figure on the hit ITV series, sparking a flurry of bets backing the Girls Aloud star to win the show.
Irish bookmakers Paddy Power has halved her odds of winning the series from 18/1 to 9/1 after an episode in which she smashed a jungle challenge, securing 10 stars and dinners all round for her hungry campmates.

Once accused of enduring a fractious relationship with her Girls Aloud cohorts, Nadine has enjoyed something of a renaissance down under.
Emerging as a likeable presence in the camp, Coyle’s winning personality, coupled with the ringing endorsement of her former bandmates has seen her tipped as a dark horse for the series.

The Derry-born star’s chances have also been helped by her strong Irish accent, which has made her an appealing presence to the show’s largely English audience.
It has also made her a firm favourite on social media, with the vocalist garnering an impressive online fanbase.
Irish fans have also voiced their support by sharing previous quotes from Nadine voicing her appreciation for her homeland.

A Paddy Power spokesperson said: “Nadine’s popularity has soared over the past couple of days, with punters ploughing their money on her to Call the Shots and win this year’s I’m A Celeb.
“While Andy Whyment has been the favourite to win since he joined, Nadine has accounted for double the amount of bets to be crowned jungle Queen in the last 48 hours.”
