Murder on the menu at Aisling Project charity event

A CRIME has been committed at The Crown Moran Hotel in Cricklewood and it’s down to the guests to solve it.

In the latest fundraising initiative launched by the Aisling Return to Ireland Project, supporters get the opportunity to enjoy a murder mystery evening at the iconic Irish landmark in north London.

But those who are up for a little crime-solving craic should also bring their appetite – as their ticket for the event includes a two-course meal, which will be served as the whodunnit gets underway.

“From the moment guests arrive at the hotel they will be immersed in the murder mystery plot,” the charity claims.

“Actors mingle with the diners during pre-dinner drinks and odd events will start to happen. An argument could develop, a fight may break out and, who knows, a murder may occur.”

Irish actors involved in the Green Curtain Theatre Company will be providing the action at the hotel, where guests will be expected to solve the crime by using their intuition and detective skills.

Mary Leyne, from the Aisling Project, said: “We are delighted that this collaboration between Aisling, the Crown Moran Hotel and Green Curtain Theatre has allowed us to add a murder mystery to our fundraising calendar and hope that the public will support this event.”

The murder mystery event takes place from 5pm on Sunday, May 17 at the Crown Moran Hotel in Cricklewood.

Tickets cost £25 each and can be purchased here or by contacting the charity on 0207 485 7030.
