A SCOTTISH prankster has left his mother embarrassed and angry after cutting a giant outline of a penis into her front lawn.
Christopher MacNeil, from the Isle of Barra in the Outer Hebrides, cut the rude shape into the grass after being asked to do a few chores around the house.
His mother, Christina, had been asking her 17-year-old son to mow the front lawn for several days but was left thoroughly unimpressed with his efforts.
Taking to social media, she posted a picture of his X-rated handiwork alongside the caption "when you nag your teenage son to cut the grass":
His efforts were well received online though, racking up close to 300 likes and plenty in the way of praise from those able to see the funny side.
"Brilliant!!" one friend wrote, with someone else labelling it "extremely creative" while another described it as "a work of art!"
And while Christina admitted she was initially left livid by the gag, she did eventually see the funny side.
"He doesn't usually do that sort of thing because he doesn't normally cut the grass!" she told The Scottish Sun.
"He is the youngest of six boys so they all found it very funny, as I did in the end. He wasn't punished for it, though."
Viral pranks are pretty commonplace these days - but they don't always go to plan.
A few months back, one YouTube prankster came perilously close to death after a prank that saw him cement his head inside a microwave.
