A COLLISION on the M8 has led to the arrest of a driver.
A driver has been arrested in connection with alleged drink-driving.
The Garda Traffic Twitter account reported that the motorist was driving the wrong direction on the motorway, causing a crash between themselves and another vehicle.
The status confirmed "Driver arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a collision on the M8. Luckily nobody was seriously injured."
