Matt Damon sends heart-warming video to 'incredibly brave' kids at Dublin's Temple Street Hospital

MATT DAMON has graciously gone out of his way to send a heartfelt message of support to the sick children at Temple Street Hospital in Dublin.

The Hollywood superstar extended his good wishes to the kids' families, as well as staff at the hospital.

"Hi to the staff, parents and patients at the Temple Street Hospital, this is Matt Damon sending you a big 'hello'," the Bourne star said in a video message.

"I know these last months have been brutal, but you're incredibly brave to keep going in there to get your treatments.

"I just want to say I think you guys are amazing. Keep it up."

The hospital responded to Damon's kind words on Twitter.

"What an amazing treat! Oscar-winning actor Matt Damon has taken time out of his busy schedule during his latest trip to Ireland to send a heartfelt message to our little patients in CHI at Temple Street," they wrote.

"Thank you so much for your words of encouragement Matt!"

The 50-year-old has spent a lot of time in Ireland over the past few months, most recently filming scenes for his upcoming movie The Last Duel in Counties Meath, Wicklow and Tipperary.

Damon was also 'stranded' in Ireland for a few weeks at the start of the Covid-19 crisis, when travel restrictions prevented him from flying home to the US.

He was famously pictured shopping at SuperValu during his stay.

Just like us, isn't he?
