A MAN was pronounced dead in Cork city.
The man was found in an apartment on Lee Road on Sunday evening.
Cork City Fire Brigade reported four units attending the scene of a "serious incident" at 10.30pm on June 10 after the authorities were tipped off.
The 45-year-old man was removed to Cork University Hospital from the residence where it occurred.
Foul play was ruled out by An Garda Síochána investigating the incident.
A post-mortem examination is to be carried out as sunstroke is explored as a possible cause of death.
