GARDAI are investigating after a man was fatally stabbed in Kingswood, Co Dublin on Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to the Browns Barn Wood estate at around 7am, after a body was discovered outside a house.
The victim, believed to be a man in his 30s, is thought to have been stabbed to death in the early hours of the morning.
The body has remained at the scene while the area has been preserved pending a forensic examination by the Garda Technical Bureau.
Gardaí have now begun a criminal investigation and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
It's understood they are conducting door-to-door enquiries and questioning people leaving the estate, which has now been sealed off.
One neighbour told The Irish Daily Mirror: "When I was leaving for work at 7.30am, I saw four garda cars, one ambulance and one fire brigade and I thought somebody must have been killed."
