BRITAIN and Ireland are both homes to thousands of pubs – and one man has managed to draw a map of the two islands by pin pointing watering holes across the two countries.
Data analyst Ramiro Gómez decided to create maps of the world by plotting the locations of 120,000 pubs around the world.
Goméz’ map of Ireland and Britain comprises of some 29,000 pubs, stretching from Cork to the Shetland Islands, and as the picture shows, it sketches an incredibly accurate picture of the two countries.
The areas with the darkest colour have the most pubs – major cities like London and Dublin.
However, no matter where you live, it seems you are never too far from a pub in Britain or Ireland.
