A MAN has been taken to hospital following a shooting in Dublin this afternoon.
The incident occurred before 5 pm in the north inner city suburb of Finglas.
The victim sustained injuries to his hand and was taken to the Mater hospital.
He is 30-years-old and is reported to be known to gardaí.
His injuries are said to be not life-threatening.
Gardaí are appealing for information.
