A MAN in his 40s has died following a road traffic collision in Cork this morning.
The incident happened at around 5.30 on the N27 Airport Road.
The man’s body has been taken to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem will be carried out.
The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Togher Garda Station.
The road remains closed and diversions are in place while gardaí carry out a forensic examination of the scene.
