ONE German man has been reunited with his car 20 years after he forgot where he parked it.
The elderly man allegedly reported the vehicle as missing in 1997 to his local police in Frankfurt in Germany. Unable to find the vehicle, the case was left as open but no car matching the description was reported or found.
According to The Irish Times, this week, in 2017, the car was finally found, being parked in a garage in an old building.
Authorities found the vehicle as the building it was parked in was set for being demolished.
Police decided to track the registration plate and planned to find the owner to move the vehicle in case it endure damage in the demolishing project.
Upon police finding the owner of the car, the 76-year-old man was driven to the car but car wasn't in a condition to be driven.
