A MAN has died in hospital following a collision between a car and a tractor on an Irish road.
The accident happened on the A8 dual carriageway in Larne, Co. Antrim on Saturday, October 21.
A 61-year-old man was driving a red Case tractor which collided with a blue Ford Fiesta Zetec at around 3pm, just outside Ballynure village.
PSNI officers confirmed last night that the man has since died in hospital from injuries sustained in the collision.
They have urged any witnesses to the accident to come forward.
“Police would like to hear from witnesses and anyone who may have captured footage on the A8 between Ballynure and Ballyboley junctions around the time of the collision,” the PSNI states.
“Officers can be contacted at the Collision Investigation Unit by calling 101, quoting reference 926 21/10/,” they added.
