AN Irish man in his 50s has passed away in Co. Galway.
Gardaí have reported that a middle-aged man has died following a crash.
The man was driving in the vehicle alone in the region of Carrick East, Cornamona in County Galway yesterday at approximately 1.30pm.
According to The Irish Mirror, the driver of the vehicle was driving when he crashed and sadly died. The crash did not injure any other victims as it was a one car incident.
The man died upon impact of the crash, where Gardaí moved the deceased to University Hospital Galway, pending a post-mortem examination.
The road was sealed off for a forensic examination by Gardaí investigators.
