A MAN has died following a collision involving a motorcycle in Leinster.
The male believed to be in his 40s was riding a motorbike when the motor collided with a pole in the area of Drumcree.
It is reported the crash only involved the motorcycle and the pole and no other vehicles were involved.
According to RTÉ, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
The body of the deceased was brought to Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar, Westmeath.
A post-mortem to determine was caused the death of the man is due to take place tomorrow, Monday 14th May.
