A MAN HAS been left in a serious condition following a reported assault in Belfast.
Two men have been arrested following an attack on a man in the Great Victoria Street area of the city.
It's believed the assault occurred on the upper floor of a tall building on Great Victoria Street.
The victim was rushed to Royal Victoria Hospital and is said to be in a serious condition because of his injuries.
Speaking to Belfast Telegraph, a spokesperson for Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said they were alerted earlier this evening: "We got a call just before 6.30pm from the police reporting an assault in Great Victoria Street. We took the patient to the Royal Victoria Hospital and he is in what is described as a serious condition."
The scene of the assault is currently being preserved pending an investigation.
