Greater Manchester Police have shared the tale of receiving a call from an angry citizen because he got a wrong order.
Gravy seems to be a serious dealbreaker among friends and family - the brown stuff seems to make or break a relationship.
Anytime I got to KFC I'm positively horrified by the copious amounts my friends spread their gravy on their food, it's a product that both intrigues but absolutely repulses me.
It seems like I'm not alone as Greater Manchester Police have tweeted about receiving a call from one seriously angry customer all because he got gravy on his order of chips.
The police recalled: "999 from fish & chip shop earlier this week - customer kicking off, apparently because they put gravy on his chips. Shop was closed when we got there later, and in the absence of any other calls, we've assumed no-one got battered..."
After being questioned by one member of the public for making a mockery of a legitimate call, the police defended their decision to share details of the call as they originally thought it was about a fight in the chip shop: "got the sense it was another customer/passer by that rang about minor issue.."
Do you think the customer was right in reporting this fast food faux pas?

Insp S - got the sense it was another customer/passer by that rang about minor issue. We do reflect on any criticism & amend/delete if needed. Our occasional irreverence not to everyone’s liking but has bought us a huge platform for the serious stuff like wanted & missing appeals
