A MAN in his 70s has died following a collision with a car in Co. Roscommon this evening.
The incident happened on Bridge Street in Strokestown shortly before 8pm.
The male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female driver of the car was not injured.
The N5 Longford/Westport road is closed for forensic examinations and diversions are in place.
