THERE are major disruptions to commuters on one of Ireland's major motorways this morning as two consecutive car accidents have resulted in traffic closed in both directions.
The M8 motorway is currently closed between Cahir North and Mitchelstown North as emergency services rush to the scene.
Two separate early morning crashes occurred between Cahir, Co. Tipperary and Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.
The severity of the incidents is not yet known.
