IT'S not been the best of seasons for Mario Balotelli.
The controversial striker managed just one Premier League goal after his £16million move from AC Milan to Liverpool last summer.
Now, however, the Italian has suffered the ignominy of being shunned by League of Ireland First Division basement boys Cabinteely.
The South County Dublin outfit have managed just nine goals in their maiden First Division campaign, but even they don’t think ‘Super’ Mario could boost their ailing strike force.
He’d have a job dislodging the strike partnership of Ger Pender and Shane O’Neill, who between them have three goals this season.
“Stop calling us Mario, we don’t need you,” Cabinteely tweeted ahead of Friday’s clash with Athlone Town.
