A DUBLIN family is appealing for help locating their daughter’s beloved bunny which was lost during a trip along the Clontarf seafront.
The cuddly toy holds a special significance to the young girl as it was given to her by her late father.
Eager to track down the toy, her family has launched an appeal on social media calling on the public to help them locate it.
The bunny was lost somewhere along the Clontarf seafront in north Dublin this past week.
An item of huge sentimental value to the young girl, an adorable drawing of the furry friend has been circulated to help with the search.
“Beloved Bunny lost yesterday evening Clontarf seafront,” a poster appealing for help reads.
“Heartbroken little girl here if anyone finds him.”
The Association of Childhood Professionals has stepped in to help with the search, sharing the drawing of the toy on its Facebook page.
Writing alongside it, they said: “Calling anyone with connections around Clontarf area in Dublin.
‘Bunny was a present to this little girl from her Daddy before he sadly passed away. Any help would be greatly appreciated.”
A photograph of the toy has also been shared to provide further help in locating the doll.
At the time of writing, the bunny has yet to be located and the search continues.
