THE FOOTBALL club have paid tribute to one of their biggest fans.
53-year-old Sean Cox was attacked by two Roma FC fans Filippo Lombardi and Daniele Sciusco outside Anfield stadium last week.
The unprovoked attack has left Mr Cox with a severe bleed on his brain. He was placed in an induced coma due to the severity of his injuries.
News of the Liverpool fan suffering had reached the management as spotted earlier today was the message "you'll never walk alone Sean Cox".
A Dunboyne GAA jersey was also placed in the dressing room alongside all the traditional Liverpool FC ones.
