AT LEAST five people have been injured after a major crash in Dublin City centre this evening.
An area around Earlsfort Terrace and Adelaide Road has been sealed off after a car crashed and overturned at around 6.16pm.
Gardaí stressed the incident was not a hit and run and are asking people to avoid the area.
Dublin Fire Brigade described the crash as a major incident and said five people had been taken to hospital.
Four fire engines and five ambulances were at the scene.
AA Roadwatch said that Adelaide Road was closed as emergency services 'deal with a serious crash'.
They advised motorists to avoid the area if possible.
