Krispy Kreme is bringing doughnut flavoured ice cream to Ireland

KRISPY KREME is pulling out all the stops to make it a summer to remember for customers in Dublin.

The US doughnut giant was the talk of the town last year, following the opening of its first 24-hour drive-thru Krispy Kreme shop in the capital.

Demand proved so fierce, in fact, the company was eventually forced to reduce the shop’s opening hours following complaints from locals over the number of noisy cars queuing through the night for the sweet treats.

Now Krispy Kreme is hoping to cool its fans down even further with the introduction of a brand new Krispy Kreme ice cream.

The new Krispy Kreme flavoured ice cream is everything you imagined it to be and more.

Flavoured after the company’s original glazed doughnuts recipe, the company have already branded the new ice cold creation  “the same iconic flavour but a whole new experience”.

Krispy Kreme Ireland took to Instagram to announce its new addition writing: "As if we weren’t cool enough...! Imagine… Ice Kreme that tastes just like our signature Original Glazed doughnuts… AND IT'S IN STORE NOW!"

With plans afoot for another Krispy Kreme shop in Dublin, it would appear that the bakery giant is going from strength to strength in the Emerald Isle.

All of which is great news for sweet treat lovers and bad news for waistlines everywhere.
