Kim Kardashian's make-up artist meets elderly Irish couple after hearing their moving story

MARIO DEDIVANOVIC, the renowned make-up artist who counts Kim Kardashian among his clients, has said meeting an elderly Irish couple was the highlight of his year.

Last October, Des Manahan appeared on The Late Late Show with his wife Mona and make-up artist Rosie O’Driscoll.

He told host Ryan Tubridy how he had been taking classes with Rosie at cosmetics shop Benefit to learn how to apply make-up to his wife, who was struggling with the task as she is going blind.

Moved by the story, Dedivanovic invited the Waterford couple to his make-up Master Class in London yesterday.

He shared a photo on Instagram of himself with the couple at the exclusive event, saying meeting them was the highlight of his year.

“A few months ago I heard the story of Des & Mona, a couple from Ireland,” he wrote.

“Mona began losing her eyesight and her husband Des began taking makeup lessons at Benefit Ireland with @rosieodriscoll74 so he could learn to apply her makeup for her.

“I called my manager and told her I wanted to invite Des, Mona and Rosie to #TheMasterClass and we had to make it happen.

“Big thanks to @benefit_ire for helping me to make this possible.

“My heart felt so full seeing them there in front of me.

“My highlight of #TheMasterClass London and of the year #TrueLove #benefitireland”
