Johnny Depp sued for allegedly punching crew member on set of new film

HOLLYWOOD actor Johnny Depp is allegedly being sued for assaulting the film location manager of his latest movie.

Depp is facing a lawsuit from Greg “Rocky” Brooks, a location manager on City of Lies, a film about the investigation into the murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G.

Brooks claims that Depp punched him twice in the ribs after he told the Hollywood star that filming had to wrap up early for the evening.

The incident happened on 13 April 2017, according to a 14-page document which was filed in Los Angeles on Monday.

According to Mr Brooks, the production team was told they had to finish up filming earlier than originally planned that evening because of curfew.

The lawsuit says that when Brooks approached Depp to inform him of the change in plans, Depp screamed and berated Brooks, saying: “Who the fuck are you? You have no right to tell me what to do! I don’t give a fuck who you are and you can’t tell me what to do.”

Depp then allegedly punched Brooks in the ribcage before being removed from the scene by his own bodyguards.

He also reportedly told Brooks: "I will give you 100,000 dollars to punch me in the face right now."

Brooks also alleges that Depp’s “breath reeked of alcohol” and says he believes Depp had been drinking and doing drugs on set.

According to the legal document, Brooks was fired for choosing not to sign a document stating he would not sue the production company over the incident.

Mr Brooks is now seeking unspecified damages from Depp, the film’s director Brad Furman, producer Miriam Segal, and Good Film Productions with allegations of assault and wrongful termination.

Depp is currently involved in another legal battle with ex-managers and is suing his former lawyers after claiming they cheated him out of millions of dollars.
