JOE BIDEN’S daughter has shared a picture capturing the touching moment the President-elect discovered he had won US election.
Naomi Biden tweeted out a photograph of the moment the 77-year-old was told, after four days of vote-counting, that he had beaten Donald Trump.
The photo was taken at some point around 11:25am this past Saturday when the media called the election in Biden’s favour.

The former Vice-President secured victory after claiming the key swing state of Pennsylvania.
His win was celebrated over in Ireland, with several of Biden's distant cousins and relatives taking to the streets of his ancestral home in Ballina to celebrate.
It’s a victory that will see Biden become the oldest President in US history with the Irish-American Democrat due to turn 78 later this month.
The new First Lady, Jill Biden, was also in triumphant mood on social media, posting a picture of herself and her husband holding a sign that reads: “Dr & Vice President Biden Live Here.”
Evidently a memento from Biden’s time serving under Barack Obama, in a neat twice Jill carefully placed a hand over the word “vice”.
"He will be a President for all of our families," she wrote alongside the image.

It stood in stark contrast to those of Donald Trump, who is refusing to concede defeat, instead accusing the Democrats of rigging the election in their favour.
The outgoing President tweeted: “I WON THE ELECTION"
He later doubled down on his claims, writing: "BAD THINGS HAPPENED WHICH OUR OBSERVERS WERE NOT ALLOWED TO SEE. NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE."
Trump has claimed observers from his campaign were prohibited from counting rooms in Pennsylvania and several other key states.
The President has so far failed to provide any concrete evidence to back up his claims but is nevertheless pursuing legal action to try and get access to the counts.
