AN IRISHMAN has died following a road crash in Spain.
The man, understood to be in his 70s and originally from Limerick, died in the incident on Saturday, September 16.
Local reports have said the man is a well known businessman who had moved to Kilkee in Co Clare in recent times.
While full details of the incident are not known, Spanish authorities have launched an investigation.
A spokeswoman for the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs have said they are aware of the case and are providing consular assistance to the man's family.
