GARDAÍ in the area of Listowel in Co. Kerry are asking anyone with information to come forward regarding an incident that happened earlier today.
On the R555 at Foildarrig near Duagh in Co. Kerry, two cars collided resulting in one death.
According to The Irish Mirror, the passengers of one car who were both in their 20s were brought to University Hospital Kerry but were found to be in a stable condition following the crash.
Passengers found in the other car were rushed to University Hospital Kerry also, however, the injuries sustained in the collision resulted in the death of one woman who was not driving, while the male driver in his 50s was left in serious condition at the hospital.
It's reported the incident happened at approximately 12.30pm on Saturday afternoon. Gardaí were called to the scene and sealed it off pending forensic examination.
