A MAN in his forties and a teenager have been tragically killed in car crash in Co. Cork this morning.
The victims, who were travelling in the same car, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident, which happened at around 5.30am near Glengarriff, is thought to have involved just one car.
It's understood that another man has been airlifted to Cork University Hospital, while a fourth man was lucky to escape without injury.
The road has since been closed off while forensic investigators assess the scene. Local diversions have been set up.
"The services of Forensic Collision Investigators have been requested at the scene. The road is currently closed with local diversions in place," a garda spokesman said:
"Gardaí at Bantry are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward. Gardaí are also appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time to make this footage available to Gardaí.
