AN IRISH judge has ordered a 54 year old juror who is in love for the first time off jury duty.
The exchanged happened Central Criminal Courts in Dublin earlier this week during a jury selection.
According to court reporter Sarah Jane Murphy who witnessed the heartwarming moment, the would-be juror told the judge he couldn't serve on the jury as he was going away for the weekend.
However, the unnamed judge said: "We don’t sit at weekends."
The man then said: "I’m away till Monday. I’m 54, a bachelor & it’s my first time in love."
In a stroke of genius and loveliness, the judge gave his order - and blessing saying: "Then you GO and you GO with my blessing."
