LATEST figures have revealed that Irish people have donated around €1 million worth of water refunds to the country’s homeless charities.
The Refund Project was launched by Focus Ireland, the Peter McVerry Trust and the Simon Community last December to coincide with the Irish Water repayments of €173 million.
The donated money will be put towards three housing projects in Limerick Cork and Dublin.
