DUBLIN Fire Brigade has been praised following the help they gave to an expectant mother.
The service arrived to the house of one mother in Swords when she suddenly went in labour.

Mum Donalyn was assisted by Firefighter/Paramedics from Swords. Mum and baby doing fine. Crew doing well too! DFBBaby."

The fire brigade has helped to deliver babies in the past also, staying on the phone to one woman who panicked and called emergency services when she went into labour.
The brigade talked her through the process and by the time the ambulance had arrived, she has already given birth.
