ANIMATOR Conor Ryan was taking a train to Manchester when he decided to illustrate how he was feeling inside about the current political turmoil in Britain.
The cartoon, which took him about three hours in total to draw, depicts a large EU liner cruising away into the distance while UKIP leader Nigel Farage, and Tories Boris Johnson (tipped to be the next PM) and Micheal Gove, are left in a small row boat with a ripped Union Jack.
Both Johnson and Gove are fighting, shouting "I thought you brought the provisions" at one another while Gove is hunched, and roaring 'Leave' repeatedly into a megaphone.
Ryan, 36, was born in Ireland, studied animation in Dun Laoghaire in Dublin and moved to Britain almost nine years ago for work. He now lives in Camden and although his day job is all about moving images, he indulges in an occasional political cartoon when the mood takes him.
He says the EU referendum outcome vote has left him "shaking his head that people can be so easily duped."
Asked how he feels in the aftermath of the vote, he says "I still haven't heard an argument that isn't based on bullsh*t. To me it's pretty ugly."
