IT was a concept popularised in a hit '90s British TV show and now Tesco has put together the ultimate supermarket sweep with an Irish flavour.
Having analysed the most popular products in its customer's baskets and trolleys across Ireland the supermarket chain has revealed the nations’ shopping habits.
In Donegal it's all about having a healthy start to the day with berries and probiotic drinks, while in Cavan its a good old-fashioned fry-up that tickles the tastebuds.
Dublin's lettuce lovers meanwhile buy more bagged salad, eggs, cheese and salad ingredients including avocados, beetroot, radish and spring onions than the rest of the country.
While saucy Wexford shoppers come out tops for condiments including mayonnaise, tomato sauce and brown sauce, with Roscommon the cream of the crop when it comes to buying milk and cream.
