TWO LEGENDARY superheroes came face-to-face at the UN summit on climate change over this past weekend.
On one side you had a literal man mountain, loved by men and women alike and known for his on-screen charisma and striking good looks. And on the other, you had Jason Momoa.
The meeting of Ireland’s President Michael D. Higgins and the Aquaman star was a thing to behold on social media, where a picture of the pair posing together quickly did the rounds.
Momoa and Higgins were brought together by a shared concern for the environment.
They share a mutual concern over the catastrophic impact of climate change on small island developing states (SIDS).
Both present for a UN summit on climate change, they evidently hit it off as this picture of them enjoying a warm embrace of sorts demonstrates.
A picture of them together was tweeted out via the President of Ireland's Twitter account.
It didn't take long to go viral.

“Two giants”, one follower replied.
“The remake of the movie Twins looks pretty good, in fairness,” a second joked.
“Can he play loosehead prop?” a third asked. “Hell, we’ll even take Jason if he fancies it.”
Being near such a heartthrob must have been quite an experience…for Momoa.
The pair have more than just a shared concern for the environment though.
Momoa is a huge fan of all things Irish, having spent his off-time during filming on Game of Thrones over in Ireland travelling the country sampling pints of Guinness.
All of which must have made Higgins the perfect company, with the Irish president evidently all too happy to garner the attention of the Aquaman actor.
Could this be the start of a beautiful friendship? We’d certainly like to think so.
