IRISH rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll has tried his hand at the Lambeg drum during a Twelfth of July event in Co. Armagh.
The former Munster outside centre is more renowned for his sporting prowess than his musical skills, having won two Six Nations titles with Ireland.

However that didn’t deter him from having a go on the drum, a traditional feature of the annual Twelfth of July unionist and Orange Order parades in the North.
The Dubliner revealed on Twitter he was in the village of Loughall to film a documentary on the unifying power of sport.
While he appeared to receive a warm welcome in Co. Armagh, needless to say his impromptu performance provoked a mixed reaction online.

Hope you enjoyed your day in Loughgall and realised that what’s seen on the tv in Belfast isn’t what it’s like everywhere
