POLICE in Ireland have launched an investigation after human remains were discovered in Co Louth.

The skeletal remains were unearthed at the rear of a house in Dundalk Co. Louth yesterday evening September 6.

Construction workers at the property alerted Gardaí to the find on Mary Street North in the town shortly before 5pm.
