Ikea offers free breakfast to Irish customers who turn up in correct clothing this weekend

IKEA will give a free cooked breakfast to all customers who make their way to their Dublin store in the correct clothing this weekend.

The Swedish furniture chain is asking all visitors to turn up in their pyjamas on Saturday, September 7 and earn themself a free cooked breakfast in the Ikea café.

Those who make the journey will need to be a Ikea Family member, the store’s loyalty rewards scheme which is free to sign up for on their website.

Pyjama-clad customers will also receive a €15 discount if they spend €50 or more in store on the day.

"We know that many of our IKEA Family members love a good lie-in, but who can say no to a free meal and some fantastic savings?” Anna Arokiam, Head of Commercial Activities at IKEA UK & Ireland, said.

“So why not combine the two and make it even more rewarding.

“We hope this dreamy offer gives everyone an excuse to get out of bed bright and early and enjoy a fun-filled day at their local IKEA."

All IKEA Family members who visit IKEA Ballymun this Saturday in their PJs can enjoy a free small cooked breakfast - including scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns, a free breakfast roll, or free children’s breakfast if aged 16 and under.

Vegetarian options will also be available, the company has confirmed.
