THE SWEDISH retailer IKEA is set to open their second full store in Ireland.
Ballymun's original IKEA warehouse in Dublin won't remain the only IKEA in Dublin for much longer.
The new IKEA is set to open in Carrigtwohill in the east of Co. Cork. The new location is reportedly close to a rail line which will convenience shoppers and workers alike.
According to The Irish Mirror, the new store will provide for 500 jobs in the local area. The scale of the current Dublin IKEA warehouse is so great that it hires 650 people.
