A 32-year-old man is due in court this morning in connection with the murder of Natalia Karaczyn in Sligo.
Natalia, 30, was found dead in an isolated woodland area near Carns on the outskirts of Sligo town on Tuesday morning.
The mother-of-three had been missing from her home at Crozon Park since early on Sunday.
Originally from Poland, Natalia had lived in the town for a number of years.
The man, understood to be her husband and fellow Polish national Rafal Karaczyn, was charged in connection with the murder last night.
He is due to appear in court in Sligo this morning.
Gardaí are yet to confirm Natalia's cause of her death, but it's believed early indications suggest she died from injuries consistent with strangulation.
A beige Peugeot 308 estate car which was spotted in the Sligo town area around the time of Natalia's disappearance has been seized by Gardaí.
The vehicle was due to be examined by Garda forensic investigators on Wednesday.
