The reason for death has not yet been confirmed.
Gardaí in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of human remains at Ballyandrew near Ferns, Co. Wexford.
The discovery was made shortly after 11.30am this morning.
The scene is preserved and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
The body remains at the scene.
The Garda Technical Bureau will attend the scene in the morning and a Post Mortem examination is expected to be carried out tomorrow.
