THE massive 'NO' sign which was erected on Ben Bulben mountain in Co. Sligo yesterday is now gone.
The structure was erected on the north face of the mountain by anti-abortion campaigners Sligo For Life on Thursday morning.
With just over a week to go until the abortion referendum, the sign sparked a furious reaction on social media and has now been removed.
An investigation into the sign began yesterday after Sligo County Council received numerous complaints from the public.

The National Parks and Wildlife Service were among those who advised the owners to remove it, while An Taisce (Irish National Trust) said it had submitted a legal complaint to the council.
Sligo For Life claimed they had received permission from the landowners to erect the plastic letters.
However, as fog cleared on Ben Bulben this morning it became clear that the sign had disappeared.
It is unclear at present who removed the sign but there have been reports it was "vandalised".
The Irish Post has contacted Sligo County Council for comment.
