Homeless man sleeping rough in tent in Irish town dies

A HOMELESS man who was sleeping rough in a tent in an Irish town has died.

The body of 41 year old was discovered in Bray Co. Wicklow on Saturday, September 16.

A spokesman for An Garda Síochána said Gardaí from Bray Garda Station attended the scene of the sudden death on Saturday, September 16 at 5am.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to RTÉ, the man's partner who was also in the tent woke up on Saturday morning and found him unresponsive.

This is the third death of a rough sleeper in the last three weeks following the death of Jack Watson in Dublin earlier this month, and a 30 year old woman in Cork.
